This was discovered by UFOovni2012 of Youtube and I have to admit, it looks like a woman partly cloaked. The woman seems to have breasts...indicated by the shadow on its chest. We also see two arms that are lighter in color and what looks like a head with long hair. Its hard to tell if this is a living being, or a statue of a being from long ago. However, a statue that small would be eroded and destroyed easily, so it has a higher chance of being a living being. The photos you get from the martian rovers are hardly ever "unique": They take series of photos with different angles, in different lighting conditions etc. If you find a certain formation interesting, you can be virtually certain that there are more photos of it.
We turn to the incredible image archive of the Mars Science Laboratory, Curiosity Rover. On Sol 1001, that is May 31, the left Mastcam took the following photos. Click for cropped or original raw images (timestamps are local JPL California time I think):

How many hours have "ufologists" spent over thousands upon thousands of pictures like these, not looking for the incredible science and beauty there actually is but for ridiculous stuff like the fairy virgin Mary of Gale crater? And the weirdest thing is how they still cut corners when it comes to double-checking. It took me a few idle minutes on the phone to find the 10:38 photo in the series above, which settled the issue. (Next stop is of course conspiracy country, which is another place altogether.)
But I do have to thank UFOvni and UFO Sightings Daily for pointing out the rock formations. They are incredible in several ways, though not the one they imagined.
