Batman slår Robin

Mem-bilden där Läder... Batman lappar till Robin är spegelvänd. (Annars hade det blivit svårare att få till alternativa pratbubblor.) Och att Batman alls använder fysiskt våld mot Robin beror på att han i den aktuella seriens alternativa verklighet är ond.

The story is an "Imaginary Story" from 1965's World's Finest #153, by writer Edmond Hamilton and artists Curt Swan. The concept behind the story is that Bruce Wayne believes that Superboy was responsible for his father's death, so he became Batman specifically to fight against Superboy (and then, naturally, Superman).

The earliest known parody of the panel was submitted to the image-sharing website SFWChan on June 10th, 2008, in which the speech bubble text is changed to have Robin ask Batman what his parents got him for Christmas, to which Batman responds with a slap while yelling “my parents are dead!!”
